Jesus said: Whoever welcomes a little child, welcomes Me. And He warned of the punishments due to those who harm the 'little ones'.
Jesus preached in the Temple, speaking the truth, and angering some people who then plotted to harm Him.
Jesus Christ preached in the Temple, and the crowds hung on to His words.
It is the Will of God that we fulfil our duties towards our immediate family. If we neglect to feed and clothe them, we neglect to feed and clothe Christ, as He explained in His parable: "I was hungry, thirsty, sick and you did not help me".

Whoever curses, strikes, abandons or 'destroys' a spouse is cursing Christ in His Passion, or striking Christ with the soldiers, or abandoning Christ to His unjust sentence, or crucifying Christ on the Cross. Christ said that whatever we do to others, we do to Him.

Whoever cruelly deserts their spouse or children is causing them to suffer as Christ suffered in His Passion, when He was heartbroken and alone. Christ said that whatever evil we do to others, we do to Him, just as whatever good we do is 'counted' as done to Him.
The life of God is so awesome and glorious that even the Saints in Heaven, who gaze towards God in wonder, do not fully understand the Holy Trinity. That triune life was only revealed to us because Jesus, the Son of God, descended from Heaven, to tell us of God's love and God's inner life.
If we refuse to follow the teachings of Christ and His Church, and lead immoral lives, we are like people who ignore a 'danger' sign and walk across a road where there is severe subsidence. They will risk losing limb or life. We risk our eternal life with God.

Christ told me that His message is simple: It is all 'about' love. Because of His love for each of us, He wants to draw us towards Heaven and save us from Hell. Hence His constant teachings in His own day, and ours, about repentance, change, and the sacraments of the Church.
It is a terrible moment, when a person who dies meets God, and admits that he had been put on earth to love and serve God, and find true joy in Him, yet had spent most of his life totally ignoring God, and His Son, and His Church, and His wishes.
It is as if, in the Lord's sight, there is a cloud of corruption swirling in society; and Catholics find it hard not to be overcome. Many compare themselves with others, and are satisfied with themselves, instead of asking themselves: "Am I faithful to the teachings of Christ and His Church?"

In descending to earth as man, the Son of God came to share His Divine power, life, wisdom and joy. He showers with extraordinary gifts all who follow His instructions and, for love of Him, follow His Way.
As my heart aches now, Christ told me, so His heart ached, when in His earthly lifetime He saw people ignore His wise words and refuse to follow the Way to Heaven. He watched as they walked towards damnation.
Some clergymen try to forget that Christ said many 'hard sayings' about sin, Hell, judgement, and faithfulness to the Church; these are things often ignored or contradicted today, by those Catholic Bishops who are more keen to please their colleagues or their flocks than their Saviour.
Jesus once said that, "The measure you give will be the measure you get". If we want Him to act towards us with a merciful and gentle judgement, we must act with mercy and gentleness towards those who displease or annoy us.
Whoever searches for an answer to life's questions can do no better than to listen to Jesus. He is the only one of Whom it can be said: He healed everyone, He killed no-one, and He rose from the dead, proving that He has the power to take His followers up to Heaven. Everyone looking clearly at the truth will appreciate that good news, which is worth having.
