Everyone alive is loved by Christ our God. Yet when we are reconciled to Him through sacramental confession, and renewed in love and joy, we are wrapped in His love as His own brothers or sisters or children.

A person who is cured of smallpox is fervent and joyful as he explains his cure; and so it is when people have their sins forgiven, and are grateful. They are the most fervent in speaking to others about Christ their Saviour.

Everything we think, do and say in our earthly lives can be 'seen' by God. He created us from love, yet He sees all our vices as well as our virtues. He wants us to know that we should keep in mind that we shall all be judged on our behaviour.

It is important to be attentive at Mass, aware that Jesus Christ our God loves us so much that He has suffered and died for us, allowing His own creatures to mock and torment Him, and never seeking revenge against us, but loving us until His last breath.

Truly, God has revealed what He is 'like': so loving and humble that He was willing to let His creatures mock and kill Him, rather than abandon His mission to save us from sin. And now, we can be present at Mass, where that same loving Saviour offers His Eternal Sacrifice.

God's love never ceases towards us, as it never ceased towards our first parents on the occasion of the Original Sin. Yet they damaged their relationship with God, and needed reconciliation and healing.

The soul who is ready to enter Heaven, after Purgatory and not straight after death, kneels in awe before the Godhead, and waits for Christ and Our Lady to lead him to the Father's heart.

It is really important, as we journey together in the Church towards Heaven, that we love one another, and do not overlook the command to love our enemies, or to love the sick, shy and poor in a parish.

If we persevere in faith, we can approach the 'shore' - the state of great charity - from which we will depart to Heaven at our death. Even in this life, we can come near the edge of Eden.

The union between Christ and myself is so close that whoever hurts me must hurt Christ. Each of us must remember that. It we hurt another human being it is as though we hurt Christ, through whom the world and all that is in it were made. Everyone is precious.

Christ can see into our hearts. He 'sees' our sins and weaknesses, the forces that mould us, our deepest yearnings, and our daily decisions. If we believe in Heaven and Hell, we will pray, and make wise choices.
