Christ is concerned for everyone and everything on our planet as He intercedes for us and offers His Holy Sacrifice.

Baptism is the normal means by which we are made adopted children of God our King, Who then gives us special helps, blessings, intimacy, joys - and the promise of inheriting His Kingdom. Onlookers can hope to benefit from the King's generosity, in some way, but the wisest go to the King's representatives to ask for adoption.

I saw a person clinging to the wall of the Abyss, hurling insults up towards Christ, yet in danger - at the least violent movement - of falling into the depths. He needs our prayers.

By our sincere intercessions we help to save souls in mortal sin who, if they do not change, will fall into Hell.

Catholics who want to do more than fulfil ordinary duties with little enthusiasm should follow the 'ladder' to Heaven, which consists of three stages: purgation, illumination and union. These lead to the heights of contemplation, and to eternal bliss in Heaven.

Life lived in union with God through Baptism is like a journey in a seat on a monorail; the train arrives at an airport, which represents a happy death; for there is a flight waiting, which will end in Heaven. Those who cannot be bothered to take the train are doomed. Those who wanted to, but could not, will be 'parachuted' into the airport by a merciful God.

When we pray in the name of Jesus to our Heavenly Father it is as though the 'door' to Heaven opens. The Father hears us; and the light of the glory of Heaven shines upon us.

If the Queen were to walk down the centre aisle in our church, would the chatter cease? Would people bow or stand or curtsey, and keep silent, in case she wished to speak? Can we not do the same, now, for the King of Kings, Who is Present in the tabernacle?

As we 'aim' for Heaven, we are like swimmers trying to avoid the currents that can sweep us away from our destination. Baptism is like a pair of waterwings that makes possible our safe arrival.

Whenever the Church on earth prays the Creed with faith and fervour, the Saints and Angels, with the Holy Trinity, rejoice at seeing such a blaze of love and faith from upon earth.

St. Peter spoke about Christ with fervour, joy and utter conviction; and so he provided a wonderful example for us who are sometimes timid, and have to throw off our fears, with God's help, and make joyful proclamations about the truths of the Catholic Faith.

In becoming man, the Son of God chose to share our life on earth, and our sufferings - though He is without sin. And He sacrificed His life so that we could be freed from sin and from the fear of death.

God pours out into our souls tremendous graces when we confess our sins in the Sacrament of Penance. As a dirty room needs cleaning right into the corners, so our souls need purifying in every 'area' - by the grace of Christ, Who is at work in His Church.

We are right to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, and to enjoy Crib sets and other traditions; but above all we must help the needy, in honour of Him Who came to help us in our need, when we were trapped in our sins.

We might sometimes question the wisdom of surrendering to God's Will, when we imagine our own plans are good. Yet His plan for us is always best: so great, eventually, that it's as if, in following His Will, we have accepted a life with a King in His Coronation Coach, even when we had not expected such goodness.

Christians who serve Christ so well that they go straight to Heaven when they die are like those brave soldiers who have been so heroic that their courage is recognised by the Queen, who is pleased to meet them at an investiture, to give them a medal.

Our Beloved Lady came to me in my hotel room. She was radiant, and glorious as a Queen. She consoled me in my difficulties, and assured me that her son was pleased with me, and glad that I persevere to bring encouragement to many in the Church.

We are right to honour Mary, the Blessed Virgin, through whom the Father gave us His Son, and all the graces we receive in the Church, especially in the Holy Eucharist. We would be right to surmount a 'Mary-style' tabernacle with an image of Christ in glory.

Our Blessed Lady stretched out her arms to me, showing me how pleased she is to be loved and welcomed. The Lord wants us to treat her as our Heavenly Mother, and to show love towards her, and not just to speak as if she is merely a 'type' or a 'model' for Christians.

The graces that God pours out upon souls at the mention of Jesus' name in our prayers are like a 'rain' of emeralds, rubies and other precious stones in earthly life. We all ought to pray in His name, so that spiritual treasures will enrich those we love, and people in need.
