There are other people who believe they know what God wants them to do; and they do it. They fast and pray with admirable fervour. Yet many Christians do not pray regularly because they do not realise how glorious and good is God Who deserves our praises. They have not been well-taught.

The Saints are all around us, with Christ, as we pray; they delight in the love in our hearts, and in every reverent word and gesture as we honour them, and adore and praise the Three Divine Persons.

God greets a cry of love from one of His 'children' with the delight felt by an earthly father who hears a cry of love from his little child. Truly, we delight God by our loving exclamations of gratitude and praise.

As soon as I had received Christ in Holy Communion, I was shown by Christ that He stood within my soul, so to speak, praising and adoring God the Father above, just as I had been doing throughout the day, as I prayed, and offered up my sufferings, for God's glory, and to help the Church.

The Lord showed me little 'fires' of love for God, burning all over the world, especially wherever people praised God through Christ at Mass, with reverence, and particularly through the 'Ancient Rite'.

Through the Church we have everything we need to live as children of God in a sinful world. We even have praise to offer to God our Father which is worthy of Him: praise which is offered by Jesus Christ, Sacramentally Present in our midst, at Mass.

The Lord showed me that thousands of Saints in Heaven live in perfect peace, in blissful enjoyment of the beauty of God, united in praise of the Father and in love for one another.

On the birthday of my younger son I saw Christ at the altar, His arms stretched out in prayer as He praised the Father for all the spouses who love one another and who welcome and love their children, and are grateful for the gift of life.

Christ's Sacrifice of Calvary, re-presented in the Mass in a sacramental manner, is the 'fragrant' sacrifice whose scent - of obedience and love - rises to Heaven, gives worthy praise to the Father, and is all-sufficient.

Far 'above' us, in the heights of Heaven, lives the Father, Whom we praise in the Mass, through Christ His Son. The Father is the Source of Life. It is the Father's plan that children be conceived in their mother's wombs, and benefit from a father's care. Marriage should not be destroyed by any modern trend or new practice.

Whoever praises God for the grass and the sunlight, the raindrops and the dew, should know that all the beauty of nature has been prepared by God for our delight, and our use. By His deliberate plan, He made a world for us, where we can find life sustained, and our hearts touched by so much loveliness.

Though good people everywhere have sought to know about God, and to praise Him, Christians have learned about God from those who have heard Him speaking to them in person: those who heard Jesus Christ, God-made-man, offer forgiveness and Eternal Life.
