Christ pointed out the truth that, by my decision to enter into full Communion as a Catholic, I risked pain and persecution, for love of Him - just like many of His followers in His earthly life-time, and every era.

The Catholic Church teaches the glorious truth that, in the past, God reached out to human beings in various ways; in the future, He will reward all who have remained faithful; and in the present moment He remains with His Church, guides us through the Pope and other Catholic Bishops, and is Present with us through Jesus's sacramental Presence.

God wants everyone to come to knowledge of the truth: about the meaning of life, and about His love for us, revealed in His Son Jesus Christ. But people who avoid the truth or refuse to change are trapped in a darkness of their own making, unlike believers who turn to Heaven with confidence.

The Lord showed me a series of posters which represented the many subjects studied in Catholic schools. If the children don't learn spiritual truths, however, they will be lost. They need to know about God's love for them, and their unique worth; and also about the importance of prayer, the sacraments, holy living, the Mass, and perseverance in grace until death.

A Catholic who refuses to believe some of the truths of the Faith puts up a barrier in his soul, and prevents himself from gaining the sort of clearer understanding of Truth, and of inter-locking truths, that he might have gained from God in prayer.

It is true that Christ wants us to bring encouragement in what is good, to other people; yet there are times when we need to speak 'hard truths', just as Christ did, in order to help people to change.

Though we know that the Saints do not sit upon the clouds, as shown in ancient pictures, the truth shown out through those pictures remains the same: that the Saints are with God in Heaven, and that they look upon us with love, and help us by their prayers.

No Catholic should look down on our ancient Christian devotions, or those of other Christian cultures, where the imagery of faith is clothed in an unusual or unfamiliar appearance; for example, Our Lady of Sorrows.

The Lord showed me row upon row of people gathered in a Cathedral for the Requiem Mass of a Bishop: people who deserve to hear the Faith preached by Bishops in its fullness.

How many Bishops preach against abortion, the Lord asked, and against contraception, unchastity, desertion of spouses and neglect of children? Who do we hear much more about other less important topics?

The Lord asks the Bishops to look back at their lives. Have they ever failed to speak out about morals, for example, for fear of upsetting people or driving them away?

Where irreverence and dissent go unchecked, and a false gospel is preached, there are few vocations to Priesthood or to religious life. How can people who disbelieve large parts of the Faith hand it on with conviction?

When the tenets of various religions are listed without comment, in Catholic schools; and when the uniqueness of Christian beliefs are not proclaimed; the children are being educated in 'indifferentism' (as if the differences are not important; as if all religions provide equally valid ways to reach God and Heaven), and this can occur too when Catholics celebrate festivals of other religions.

Some Catholics who currently 'fight' within the Church to spread their mistaken views about sin and sanctity will one day look back, and see how much time they have wasted in having acted, for many years, as if the truth about morality and sanctity were not yet known by the Church, and by those chosen by God to teach us.

There are Catholics who agree with their priest when he says how good it would be for them to learn more about the Faith; and some even ask him to arrange for speakers. Yet, of all these people, few can even be bothered, Christ said, to look at a Catechism.

Jesus Christ, our incarnate God, is substantially Present with us in the Holy Eucharist. We cannot see Him within the Sacred Host. But we who believe in His words accept the truth about His Presence, rejoice in it - and are eager to show our love and devotion in traditional ways of adoration, reverence, and with processions and hymns.
