What is Radiant Light?
Radiant Light is a movement within the Roman Catholic Church. It seeks to encourage people to grow in holiness by believing and living the Catholic faith in its fullness. It was founded by Elizabeth Wang, at the request of Christ, and its mission is inspired by the teachings, images, and spirituality He has given her in prayer. Jesus Christ Himself is 'the radiant light of God's glory' (Heb 1:3). Every aspect of the work of Radiant Light, and of this website, is meant to uphold the teaching of the Catholic Church; and all those responsible for the work of Radiant Light seek to act in obedience to the Catholic Church and to their ecclesiastical superiors.
Elizabeth Wang
Elizabeth Wang was born in 1942 and received into the Catholic Church in 1968. She died on 10th September 2016. She was an artist, housewife and mother who much of her life writing and speaking about prayer and the Catholic Faith. She was involved in the life of her home parish of Our Lady of Lourdes, Harpenden, particularly as a catechist. Her children are grown-up, and one of her sons is a Catholic priest. She exhibited at the Royal Academy, and the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours. She had solo exhibitions of religious work at Westminster Cathedral, the Bar Convent Museum (York), the Conference Rooms at St Pauls Bookshop, and at Notre Dame de France church, London. Many of her paintings are published side-by-side with her religious writings. Elizabeth Wang is the founder of Radiant Light.
